Mochas & Javas’ Commitment To Our Community

Community

We Love Our Community!

Since we opened our doors in 2003, it has been a top priority of Mochas & Javas to support our San Marcos, TX community with the same loyalty that they offer us every day. This includes partnerships with local organizations such as The United Way of Hays County, the Hays Caldwell Women’s Center, San Marcos Sporting Organizations, the Greater San Marcos Partnership, Bobcat Build, and numerous other non-profit causes. Additionally, we make small donations of product regularly and often to our local business community.

A Cure for Clara

In March of 2017, we took on our largest project to date – a fundraising event to benefit the Cure GM1 Foundation: A Cure for Clara. Through sponsorships and donations by individuals and local businesses, including a silent auction and additional event efforts, we managed to raise over $13,000 dollars for the cure.

Donations to San Marcos Organizations

Additionally, at Mochas & Javas we brew and donate an estimated 25 gallons of coffee and other beverages per month for San Marcos ISD, the San Marcos PD, and various other non-profit organizations. It is profoundly important to us as a company that we do our part in supporting our local organizations, school districts and teachers, and civil servants. The San Marcos, TX community has been the life-blood of our business for 15 long years, and we show our gratitude with any available resources.

Donate to Hays-Caldwell This Friday!

In honor of our 15th Birthday, we will be gifting 15% of our daily sales from Friday, February 9th to the Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center to assist in their efforts to help victims of domestic abuse. We invite you to join us for coffee, breakfast, or lunch with the knowledge that together, we are serving our community and one another.

If you would like more information about our local community involvement, drop by Mochas & Javas at either of our San Marcos, TX locations, or at our Frisco, TX shop.
